Opportunity: The Food Waste Farmer team has one clear mission – to reduce and rethink food waste. They help address the waste problem in commercial kitchens, delivering highly customisable food waste management and a more sustainable way to source top quality produce. Founder and expert Igor offers kitchens their own fully-managed food chain that they control from seed to plate (and back again!).
We partnered with The Food Waste Farmer to create a distinct and accessible identity for the innovative brand, applied on- and off-line, including the soon to launch website, social channel content and other brand communications.
Solution: The Food Waste Farmer’s branding expresses a connection with organic low-footprint food waste management. This is achieved in the idiosyncrasies of wood block and letterpress type, alongside bespoke illustrations, raw textures, and no-nonsense language. There is a pleasant textural quality to the brand elements giving the brand a crafted individuality and personable look and feel. All of this brings together the different aspects of the food waste initiative across print and digital.
