Natural Source Group
Opportunity: Natural Source Group meets demand for top quality, fairly sourced consumer products in China and other emerging frontiers of Asia, challenging the significant regulatory oversight in sources of supply in the region. We were asked to rebuild their brand identity, stationery and website design.
Solution: NSG builds trust in their goods and supply chain, creating premium ethical products. The mark is inspired by the idea of a natural spring, a pure source from the earth. Although simple in its form, it is intrinsically ‘natural’ and suggestive of hydration, rolling fields, a floral form, and purity.
The logo mark and type mix an absolute simplicity with a solid weight and contemporary colour palette to achieve both authority and honesty through the absence of superfluous detail. There is a light technological quality and functionality through the geometric and single line weight forms while the lowercase and soft terminals of the letters retain an accessibility.
Our challenge was to create a brand identity and website that created a strong and unifying presence which encompassed three diverse businesses under the corporate name. A complication was that we had to think about both our China and Western audiences.
TMC worked closely with the team to really get to grips with our issues. It led to a result we were really happy with both strategically and creatively. The site is now a critical part of our marketing armoury. Thank you TMC!
