Tracing the Silver Route: An Illustrated Journey for Brindisa

We created a series of custom illustrations for Brindisa Kitchen Bar, Brindisa’s new concept space in London’s famous Borough Market. Inspired by La Ruta de la Plata — Spain’s historic Silver Route — the artworks combine hand-drawn craft with digital refinement, tracing the landscapes, produce and traditions that shape this ancient journey. From the wild Atlantic coast to oak-dotted pastures and mountain caves, each piece layers storytelling, regional character and Brindisa’s distinctive visual identity across print, digital and environment.

A distinctive, screenprint-inspired style brings rhythm and character to every scene, using limited colour, layered form and playful shifts in perspective. Applied across menus, signage, website and social, the illustrations create a vibrant, connected world for Brindisa Kitchen Bar.

From acorn-fed pigs to cave-aged cheese, the land offers flavours rooted in landscape and craft.

A coastline shaped by tides and tradition, where sea life, salt, and skill have sustained generations.

The illustrations and a considered rollout helped shape a bold, unmistakable identity for Brindisa’s new Kitchen Bar — drawing in food lovers with joy, character, and storytelling that celebrates the rich traditions and producers of the Silver Route, and the Brindisa team’s craft and culinary vision.
